Alan "Brahma" Jouban
Alan Michael Jouban, known to fight fans as Alan “Brahma” Jouban, is a retired American mixed martial artist, model, and media personality. Competing professionally from 2010 to 2021, Jouban made a name for himself in the UFC’s Welterweight division, as well as in organizations such as Shark Fights, RFA, and Tachi Palace Fights. Over the course of his career, he built an impressive professional record of 17 wins—11 of those by knockout—and 8 wins in the UFC, earning a reputation as an exciting and explosive striker.
Jouban’s charisma extended far beyond the Octagon. As a successful model, he worked with iconic global brands including Nike, Levi’s, Ralph Lauren, Pepsi, and was the face of Versace's Dylan Blue fragrance campaign, which introduced him to a broader audience internationally outside the fight world.
After hanging up his gloves, “Brahma” transitioned seamlessly into broadcasting, becoming a respected UFC commentator and on-air analyst. With a sharp sense of style, strong work ethic, and deep knowledge of the sport, Jouban continues to inspire in and out of the spotlight—blending his passion for martial arts, fitness, and fashion into a life after fighting that’s just as impactful as his time in the cage. Jouban recently opened The Axe Throwing Place in his home town of Lafayette, Louisiana and continues to build and grow as an entrepreneur inspiring others to never give up and keep grinding.
